珍珠木-ÕäÖéĸ-Concha Margaritifera Usta

Zhen Zhu Mu  珍珠母 , the shell of Pinctada martensii or related pearl oyster species, is a heavy substance in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) used to anchor the spirit, calm the liver, and improve vision. It is also valued for its cooling properties in treating heat-related eye disorders and skin conditions. Prepared by calcination, it becomes easier to grind and use in decoctions or powders.
