Zhi Sou San (止嗽散), or Cough-Relieving Powder, is a classical Chinese herbal formula originating from Yi Fang Kao (Examination of Medical Formulas). It is designed to treat lingering cough after an exterior wind pathogen has mostly resolved—especially when cough persists with mild phlegm, throat irritation, or itching.
