Xiao Chai Hu Tang- Minor B Form - 小柴胡汤丸

Xiao Chai Hu Tang (小柴胡汤), or Minor Bupleurum Decoction, is a classical Traditional Chinese Medicine formula originating from the Shang Han Lun (Treatise on Cold Damage). It specializes in harmonizing the Shaoyang stage, where pathogens are "half-exterior, half-interior," and is used to treat symptoms such as alternating chills and fever, irritability, and digestive discomfort.

Formula Composition
柴胡 (Chái Hú) – Disperses constrained Liver Qi, harmonizes Shaoyang
黄芩 (Huáng Qín) – Clears heat in the Liver and Gallbladder
人参 (Rén Shēn) / 党参 (Dǎng Shēn) – Tonifies Qi to prevent inward transmission of pathogens
