Bai Zhu 白术(生), derived from the dried rhizome of Atractylodes macrocephala, is a key herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for strengthening the spleen, drying dampness, and boosting qi. The raw (生) form retains stronger drying properties compared to the fried version, making it ideal for resolving dampness and edema.
